The Kings Arms is a late 16th Century coaching inn in the very heart of Malmesbury which, along with the town itself is steeped in history. The hotel boasts 12 en-suite letting rooms each differing in layout and style along with a self contained apartment. We can offer a selection of doubles, twin and family rooms with no minimum stay requirements. Here at the Kings Arms we have two very different bars that are separated by a covered walk way. The first is a resident’s bar within the Elmer restaurant which is traditional and welcoming with a wide selection of food and beverage to suit all tastes. Our food is locally sourced and lovingly prepared by our fantastic Chefs for lunch from noon until 3pm and from 6pm until 9:30pm for dinner, please book in advance. Just across the walk way is the home of Bar 29, a much more contemporary setting that serves home cooked meals throughout the day and really does come to life on a weekend with live entertainment and a great crowd of people. Above the Bar 29 sits a separate function room known as the Market Hall. With a maximum capacity of 120 people it is the perfect venue for a conference, with plenty of natural light or a Wedding reception, with a fully stocked bar and plenty of dancing space.
